Day 38

After attending to some very acutely ill rookies around 3 a.m., Dr W came to check up on Emerson. She thought that Emerson was sticking to her plan and that she would be back with the team to extubate her later that morning. Dr. Weber said she was going home to turn her alarm off and would come right back. Since Sunday they have been pretty slammed around here.

All things considered, Emerson is really comfortable, her waking heart rate has been around 105, her resting in the low 80s. Lovie Smith was here today visiting a patient. I guess he and a bunch of bears players are frequent visitors here, a nurse mentioned that peanut Tillman often visits.
